Eye Movement Desentization and Reprocessing (EMDR Therapy) is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extrensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma, anxiety, complicated grief, addictions, post traumatic stress syndrome, disturbing memories, stress, and other areas.
EMDR Therapy is a set of standardized protocols that incorporates elements from many different treatment approaches. It was developed by Dr Francine Shapiro beginning in 1987.
